Education & Training
Literacy and vocational training in IT, fine arts, music, yoga, fashion designing, tailoring, embroidery, beautician and other professional courses.
Modern Agriculture
Promoting modern agriculture systems through training, seminars, soil sampling, quality seeds, fertilizers, tools and agricultural schools.
Scholarships & Support
Providing scholarships, free or concessional education, books, uniforms, food, medical aid and hostel facilities.
Social Welfare
Running orphanages, old age homes, rehabilitation centers for widows, abandoned women, handicapped and disaster-affected people.
Health & Legal Aid
Medical assistance during disasters, free medical camps, legal aid and socio-economic support to poor and needy persons.

Pollution control, environmental awareness, forest and wildlife protection, senior citizen forums and eradication of social evils.
Organization Background
Surya Siksha Avan Jan Sahyog Sansthan was founded in 2006, by a group of development professionals, academicians and NGO leaders, Surya Siksha Avam Jan Sahyog Sansthan is a Professional agencies working for the welfare and development of the women child student & Youth section of Indian Society. Its head office is located in Patti Tahsil Pratapgarh Distt. and it has field project in Pratapgarh regions of the U.P. SSJSS is registered as a society under the Societies Act, and has been allotted a permanent Account Number and FCRA Regi 136630043 from MHA. SSJSS governance structure includes primary member, on whose behalf a Governing Board and Executive council are elected. The executive Council includes the president, vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the society. SSJSS has five support staff working in a decentralized structure, various projects. As one of list goals is to enhance the movement of quality human resources into the social sectors, it has strived to recruit staffs who are professional qualified and experienced. The current staff and largely post graduate with a diversity of experience from the field of social service, NGO’s management, and research. Playing a primary role in SSJSS field project are also staff drawn in from the local areas and communities, Experienced in Entrepreneurship, technical Knowledge and social dynamics of the local community. The weaving together of such local and professional staff of the one hand and professional drawn from different fields on the other enables complement arêtes and synergies in project design and implementation, SSJSS is an equal opportunity employer. While SSJSS primary focus continues to be direct project implementation, thought working with woman. Children & youth communities in both rural and urban areas, its also plays other support roles. Such support roles include policy research and dialogue with government; training and capacity building of a variety of collaborating institutors. SSJSS has thematically focused on the areas of health, Educational & Rehabilitation. It has self sustainable development, Particular by woman.

Mission
Establish Basic Education Schools, Vocational Trainings & Mobilization of woman’s collectives such as self help groups, cooperatives and federation. Social entrepreneurship amongst individuals and groups draws from disadvantaged background to create a wider base for self reliant development. Provide education, vocational training, women empowerment and related services & instruction involved in the economic and social development.
Strategy
Working directly in implementation functions at the grass roots level through placing development professional in ruler areas who work together with locally developed community cadres. Building up viable and sustainable “demonstration project” on a small scale that can be further adopted for scaling up, replication and extension in the long run. Primary playing an enabling role at the field level through identifying, training and building capacities of individuals and local organization to play entrepreneurial and development role. Whenever possible, to create a network of collaborating institutions that can play sustainable complementary roles instead of attempting to play all role and carry functions in house. To work through a decentralized project team approach where each team is empowered, but has opportunities to learn from other team. After a certain stage, to spin off independent and sustainable local organization thought promoting entrepreneurship among staff team member. Consolidating learning thought field based action research documents and conversion of experience and lesson into training programs thought establishment of a learning center. Creating Opportunities and forms for continually dialoguing with policy marks of different issue relating to economic development for poverty alleviation. Ensuring proper targeting of the client group in all programmers and projects towards the Health segments of society. To continually invest in empowering the client group through training, exposure trips, sharing of information, and opportunities for decision-making. Develop a continuous system of drawing in quality human resource into the development fields.
Basic Accounting System
Surya Siksha Avan Jan Sahyog Sansthan has total supporting document is available for every Income & Expenditure. Supporting document is neatly fielded, so that it is easy to find any document when it needed. The Bank Statement for each bank account is neatly field and supporting document and bank statement is kept for the previous three years. Every transaction is writing down in a cash book. A cash book is a list of the money. That an organization has spent and receipt. It is kept as manually on cash book and a computer (tally 7.2 packages). All cash book are updated at last one in per week. A separate cash book is kept for each bank account. SSJSS has a standard chart of account to use to code all the financial transaction is the cash book. The same chart of account is too used to write financial report. Transaction is also classified by project of activity using a standard list of “Cost Center”. All cash kept in the office is kept in a locked cash box or safe. All cash and bank receipts are acknowledge and banked regularly. Financial Manager is Authorize expenditure of financial manual setting. All general journals are authorized by the appropriate member of staff. Staff checks that goods and services brought by the Partner have been received before the bills and paid. Salaries paid by claque and sign black pen. And not kept on office. Staff Salaries dose not including Advanced and lone. Every bills Cheeked by the Senior Manager. Cash conducted every for night by a different person from the person who maintains them up. Financial duties separated. The balance of the cash book is reconciled to the balance on the bank statement every month for every bank account. SSJSS Transaction 85% in cheque system and 15% of cash transition system. After paid cash or cheque then the stamped of “Paid & Cancelled”, All assets owned by the partner recorded in an assets register and undated regularly all insured.
